Physician Leadership Track

Developing physicians as leaders for patients, practice, and community

Now more than ever it is evident that physicians serve many roles in their practice as well as their communities.  Throughout different societal challenges our perspective and professionalism are an important component of many teams.  While some may embrace this opportunity more than others we strive to foster and develop the leadership skills within each of our resident physicians.  In addition to our core curriculum we offer a dedicated track for physician leadership.  This additional educational support and experience will equip participants with skills and opportunity to grow.

The program will allow participants to:

  • Recognize physician leadership roles
  • Identify and develop their own leadership style
  • Demonstrate communication skill necessary for successful leadership
  • Be introduced to team management opportunities
  • Develop and foster attitude of team building
  • Demonstrate professional behavior throughout all encounters and interactions
  • Recognize and manage their personal wellness
