Bio

Dr. Lauffer is dual board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics with a focused clinical practice in hospital medicine. She currently serves as associate fellowship director of the pediatric hospital medicine fellowship program, the MS-4 sub-I director for pediatrics, the director of advocacy for the department of pediatrics and chief health officer of Cabell County Schools. Her research interests include infant safe sleep, increasing participation in pediatric advocacy efforts amongst students, residents and faculty, and quality improvement projects in the field of pediatric hospital medicine.
