Bio

Amy Lochow, MD is Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University. She is currently a busy, Board-certified general pediatrician in our main office. Dr. Lochow earned her medical degree from the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University in 2000 and was co-valedictorian of her class. She completed two years of her pediatric residency at Marshall University and completed her third year of residency at Greenville Hospital System in Greenville, SC. Dr. Lochow served as an attending physician at Greenville Hospital System from 2004-2007. In 2007, she came back to Marshall University and joined our faculty. Her clinical interests focus on care of newborns and medical education. She is currently the Director for the Quality Improvement Project by the WV Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics entitled "5210 Keep Me Healthy" that aims at reducing rates of childhood obesity. Dr. Lochow and her husband, Steve Lochow MD, have four children and both coach several youth sports teams.
