Bio

Dr. DeLapa is a fellowship-trained, double board-certified interventional pain management physician and anesthesiologist. He is a tri-state native and has been practicing pain management locally since 2009. Prior to joining Marshall Health in 2017, he cared for patients as part of the Spine & Pain Center of Bellefonte and Cabell Huntington Hospital Pain Management Center. Dr. DeLapa is passionate about helping seniors manage chronic pain through non-addictive measures, restoring function and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

He received his medical degree from The Ohio State University where he also completed his residency in anesthesiology and an interventional pain medicine fellowship. He is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, with additional subspecialty certification in pain medicine.
