All our pediatric hospitalists are taking the first hospital pediatrics certification examination in November. Our pediatric hospitalists are quite well qualified to provide training and leadership as they have led the pediatric department in research, quality improvement and the generation of PMID manuscripts. In the last few years they have presented multiple research projects at national conferences related to hospital based quality improvement projects including an oral presentation at the Pediatric Academic Societies Meeting (PAS).

In addition to our pediatric hospitalists, additional faculty for the following rotations will include:

  • PICU, Procedural Sedation, Child Advocacy Center: Pediatric Intensivists
  • NICU/Delivery Room and Nursery/Delivery Room: Neonatologists and general pediatricians
  • Emergency Department: Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) trained physician
  • Anesthesia Experience: Pediatric Anesthesiologist
  • Infectious Diseases: Pediatric ID
