The fellowship duration spans two years, organized into 12 blocks per year, with each block lasting four to five weeks.
- Fixed Schedules:
- Continuity Clinic: One half-day per week
- Grand Rounds: Tuesday mornings
- Protected Academic Time: Every Tuesday afternoon
- First-Year Fellow:
- 6 blocks of in-patient service
- 4 blocks of out-patient service, which includes general endocrine and specialty clinics, along with procedures every Tuesday
- 2 blocks of dedicated research time, which includes procedures scheduled every Tuesday
- Second-Year Fellow:
- 6 blocks of in-patient service
- 2 blocks of out-patient service, which includes general endocrine and specialty clinics, along with procedures and DXA every Tuesday
- 3 blocks of dedicated research time, which includes procedures scheduled every Tuesday
- 1 block of elective time, providing an opportunity for a pediatric and reproductive endocrinology rotation
