Faculty, residents, fellows, students and health care professionals are encouraged to submit projects that advance quality, safety and system-based improvements in medicine. Selected abstracts will be featured in poster and oral presentations during the summit. Abstract submissions are due April 4.

Printing & Guidelines

Submission Print Deadline: Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.

Request Printing

  • All posters submitted should be a size of 44” (wide) x 34.5” (high).
  • The first print is free to all Research Day participants. Reprints are $45 each.
  • Printing requests and entries must be submitted via Wrike under the "Research Posters" category. Posters will NOT be accepted if requested by email or any other method. 
  • Posters are to be submitted as PDF files ONLY. No other file type will be accepted.

About the Summit

The Annual Quality & Safety Summit is jointly sponsored by the Department of Graduate Medical Education at the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine and Marshall Health Network to foster interprofessional collaboration and communication. Presentations of projects include hospital employees, attendings, resident/fellows and medical students. Many multi-year, multi-disciplinary projects have resulted in improvements in patient safety and quality improvement.
