LGBT Cultural Competency Workshop: Promoting recognition of identity, dignity and equality
Presented by Dr. Scout
Dr. Scout is an assistant adjunct professor at Brown University. He is a frequent public speaker and cultural competency trainer who specializes in cancer, tobacco, wellness, transgendered health, social determinants, health disparities and surveillance. Dr. Scout has been doing LGBT health policy analysis for more than 10 years and was named the Health Equity Champion by the CDC in 2015, as well the National Youth Pride Services Advocate of the Year.
