To begin the process of application to the International Preceptorship Program, an applicant must complete the required preliminary online application and ‘Submit’. Once the preliminary online application has been submitted and received, an applicant will then receive email confirmation of receipt of the online application with further detailed information as to the program and instructions for the Formal application to the program.
Accepted Program participants must comply with the immunization and diagnostic procedures required by the Marshall Department of Dentistry & Oral Surgery, Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, Marshall Health and Mountain Health Network. In order to be credentialled by Cabell-Huntington Hospital for observation in the Dental Surgical Suite in the Hospital, any additional forms needing completion will be sent once an application to this Preceptorship program has been accepted. Hospital credentialling is not required for Preceptorship observation in the Main Clinic.
Three time frame programs are available. The fee for the International Preceptorship Program is $1,900 for the two (2) week program, $2,900 for the three (3) week program and $4,900 for the four (4) week program.

Forms for completion of the required documentation will be made available by email to an applicant upon formal application approval and receipt of application fee.
*Marshall Dentistry and Oral Surgery does not and will not sponsor a Visa for the program.

Upon completion of this preceptorship, the attendee will receive certification of attendance and completion of the program.
