Bio

Dr. Kilgore is a proud native of Kenova, West Virginia, and son of Spring Valley High School and Marshall University. After completing a pediatric infectious diseases fellowship and quality and safety chief residency at Duke University, he is excited to return to his alma mater to serve the greater Huntington/Tri-State community. His research interests focus on both inpatient and outpatient antimicrobial stewardship as well as quality improvement and patient safety. In addition to his roles at Marshall Health and the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, Dr. Kilgore serves as medical director for Hoops Family Children's Hospital at Cabell Huntington Hospital.
