How to Apply

We welcome applications from July through January 1 prior to the start of the fellowship year. Our Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship does not participate in the Match or ERAS, allowing applicants to connect directly with our program and faculty throughout the application process.

We accept one fellow each year and encourage interested applicants to submit the following:

  • Letter of interest
  • Curriculum vitae (CV)
  • Letter of recommendation from your General Psychiatry Program Director
  • Two additional letters of recommendation, ideally including at least one from someone who can speak to your interest and experience in geriatric psychiatry
  • USMLE/COMLEX Step scores
  • Brief personal statement describing your interest in geriatric psychiatry and why you are interested in training at Marshall
