Interfolio Faculty Information System

The Interfolio Faculty Information System serves as the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine’s centralized platform for faculty profile management, activity reporting, curriculum vitae generation, annual reviews, promotion and tenure preparation and institutional reporting.

This resource page provides guidance on getting started, completing common tasks and using Interfolio to document academic contributions across teaching, research, clinical care, mentoring, leadership and service.

Why Interfolio Matters

Interfolio is more than a reporting tool. It is a faculty-owned professional record designed to help capture and showcase the full scope of academic accomplishments while reducing the need for repeated requests for information.

Maintaining an up-to-date Interfolio profile can help faculty:

  • Track academic, clinical and scholarly activities in one place
  • Generate and update CVs more efficiently
  • Support annual review, promotion and tenure processes
  • Highlight contributions across multiple mission areas
  • Improve the visibility and accuracy of faculty achievements for institutional reporting and recognition

Whether documenting a publication, tracking educational activities or preparing for promotion, Interfolio provides a centralized, longitudinal record of your professional accomplishments. This page offers resources, training materials and support to help you make the most of the system.
