Bio

Chad Lavender, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Joan C Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University. He earned his medical degree from West Virginia University before graduating his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. He completed advanced training in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine at his fellowship at Orthopaedic Research of Virginia. Dr. Lavender serves as a team physician for Marshall University and numerous local high schools. He has been practicing at Marshall Orthopaedics since 2018 and lives in Charleston, West Virginia with his wife and family.
