Bio

Dr. Akshay Goel, MD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Joan C Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University. He earned his medical degree from Kasturba Medical College before graduating his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Government Medical College and Hospital. He completed advanced training in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine at his fellowship at American Sports Medicine Institute and in Adult Reconstruction at his fellowship at the University of Louisville. Dr. Goel has been practicing at Marshall Orthopaedics since 2017 and lives in Huntington with his wife.
