- Marshall University Physician Assistant program to host June 22 open house
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — The Marshall University Physician Assistant (PA) program will host an open house Monday, June 22, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Robert W. Coon Education Building at 1542 Spring Valley Drive in Huntington.
Undergraduate students interested in pursuing a career as a PA are invited to meet with current students and program faculty and tour the facility located on the campus of the Hershel “Woody” Williams VA Medical Center. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage in hands-on clinical skills practice and learn more about the 28-month curriculum, admissions process and career opportunities in the physician assistant profession.
Applications are currently open for the class of 2029; the deadline to apply is October 1.
Marshall University’s Master of Medical Science Physician Assistant degree equips students with the skills to evaluate, diagnose and manage patients in primary and specialty care and prepares students to serve patients across all stages of life.
