John Jasko, M.D., named Castle Connolly ‘Top Doctor’ 

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — John J. Jasko, M.D., a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and assistant professor at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, has been named to Castle Connolly’s list of Top Doctors®.

Jasko has nearly 20 years of experience in orthopaedics and sports medicine. In addition to his academic and clinical appointments, he is the Head Orthopaedic Team Physician for Marshall University Athletics. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh, followed by a residency at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and fellowships at Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa, Florida, and the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He has also served as a consulting physician for the NFL’s Tennessee Titans and a team physician for multiple high schools. 

Each year, a physician-led research team at Castle Connolly reviews nominations and selects the year’s top doctors in their specialties.
