- Internal medicine nurse practitioner fellowship program to hold virtual open houses

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Nurse practitioners interested in learning more about the internal medicine nurse practitioner fellowship at Marshall Health Network are invited to participate in a series of virtual open houses designed to provide insight into the program’s comprehensive, one-year training experience.
The internal medicine nurse practitioner fellowship offers immersive enrichment in general internal medicine and multiple subspecialties while fostering collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, medical residents and subspecialty fellows from the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine — providing a robust environment for clinical, research, leadership and team-based learning that supports professional growth and advanced practice readiness.
The virtual open houses are open to nurse practitioners interested in refining their skills in a collaborative and supportive learning environment. The fellowship begins in late summer or early fall. Open house sessions will be held on the following dates:
Each session will offer participants the opportunity to engage with program leaders, learn about the fellowship’s structure and curriculum, and explore its focus on advancing clinical expertise in internal medicine.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. For priority consideration, applicants are encouraged to apply by Monday, March 2, 2026.
