Dr. Jennifer Hawkins joins Marshall School of Medicine as pathologist

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Jennifer M. Hawkins, D.O., a board-certified anatomic/clinical pathologist, has joined the department of pathology at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine as an assistant professor.

Hawkins earned her medical degree from the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. She comes to Marshall from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where she served as a clinical fellow in hematopathology.

Hawkins also completed post-graduate training in anatomic & clinical pathology at Drexel University College of Medicine, where she served as chief resident during her senior year and was named “Resident of the Year” out of 565 house staff members.
