Marshall University researchers from many different departments and divisions gathered in late July for the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine’s Biomedical Research Retreat.   Uma Sundaram, vice dean for clinical and translational sciences, said it’s hoped the gathering will spark better collaboration and synergies across the University.    Representatives from the College of Information Technology and Engineering, College of Health Professions, College of Science,  Marshall University Research Corporation, School of Medicine and School of Pharmacy attended the inaugural event.
