Lawrence C. Uradu, MD
Class of 2012

Dr. Lawrence Uradu is an assistant professor of radiology at the University of Pittsburgh. He received a Bachelor of Science from Morgan State University and his medical degree from the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine.

He went on to complete his residency and fellowship training at University of Louisville in Kentucky and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pennsylvania, respectively. He joined the Emergency and Tele-Radiology Division at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2018.

Dr. Uradu has always been interested in increasing minority representation in the field of medicine and was part of the creation of Project P.R.E.M.E.D. (Providing Real World Experiences for future Marshall Educated Doctors) at the Marshall School of Medicine. He believes that representation matters and hopes that someday we will have more physicians of color serving as leaders and role models in our communities.

Dr. Uradu currently spends his time building his career and educating residents. When he is not sitting in front of a screen yelling at the dictation software, he spends time with his wife, Dr. Nkeiruka Uradu, and son, Jidenna.
