Abstract submissions are currently being accepted for the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine’s annual Research Day which includes events scheduled for March 24 and 25. The submission portal is available at: http://jcesom.marshall.edu/researchday 

This year due to space limitations the committee is limiting abstract submissions to a total of 92. Also new this year, separate awards will be given to students and residents.

The deadline to submit is Monday, Dec. 23.

Research Day events include a special community presentation by Dr. Jose Pulido, an internationally recognized ophthalmologist from the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn. as well as Marshall and Huntington area ophthalmologists. The Research Day Conference on March 25 features oral and poster presentations and a noon lecture on translational research by Dr. Pulido.
