The Pacemakers 5K Run/Walk

The Pacemakers 5K Run/Walk is coodinated by The Pacemakers, a student-led interest group of the Marshall University Joan C Edwards School of Medicine. All proceeds go toward supporting medical student health, physical activity and wellbeing by 1) subsidizing student entrance fees into races such as the Marshall Marathon and 2) enabling the Pacemakers to put on activities and events to encourage their peers to be physically active throughout the year.

$35 on race day
First-year medical students run for free!

Bring and donate used shoes! Have any used shoes in good condition? Bring them on race day to donate to our student-led Marshall Medical Outreach (MMO) clothes distribution for local people experiencing homelessness.
