Bio

Ella Thaxton, MS, RDH, CTTS joined the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine two years ago as a member of the community oral health team. Ella has a diverse background in the dental field-- working in general and pediatric practices, state dental health program, coalition coordinator, research and public health. She is very passionate about improving the health and well-being of her fellow West Virginians. Much of her free time includes spending time with family, her dog and on the water. She is a proud mom to one daughter and one granddaughter.
