School of Medicine assistant professor receives Bronze Oak Leaf Award

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Ashley B. Zawodniak, DO, assistant professor at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, was recently presented the Bronze Oak Leaf Award from the Hershel “Woody” Williams VA Medical Center in Huntington.

Recipients of the award are nominated by a veteran in recognition of their outstanding customer service.

Zawodniak also serves as an internal medicine physician at Marshall Health. She earned her medical degree at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia, and completed her residency at Marshall’s school of medicine.
