Welcome and hello! As the Office of Development & Alumni Affairs, it is our honor to keep you informed of alumni news, upcoming events, ways you can help your alma mater and what is happening at the School of Medicine.

The Alumni Association works to promote the continued excellence of the School of Medicine and to foster a life-long commitment of support and participation by its alumni and friends.  Our mission is 1) to help advance and influence the interest of our alma mater, 2) to support current students on their journey to becoming physicians and 3) to provide programs and opportunities for alumni to connect with each other and the School of Medicine. The Alumni Association exists to create an environment to encourage all alumni to remain closely connected to their medical school.

We always enjoy hearing from you and encourage you to stay in touch. If I (we) can be of help in anyway, please do not hesitate to stop by, call or email me (us).

Best wishes,
Linda & Amanda

Vision Statement

Our vision is to enhance the ability of the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine to fulfill its mission of educating future physicians, advancing medical knowledge, promoting health, and engaging in research.

Mission Statement

The Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine Alumni Association encourages and fosters the involvement of medical alumni in the life of their alma mater as ambassadors, advocates, benefactors and educational partners.  The constituents of the Association are students, graduates, fellows, residents and faculty of the School of Medicine.  The Association accomplishes this by informing and involving medical alumni and championing the role of alumni relations as a professional discipline in partnership with and in service to the School of Medicine.
