Pediatric Behavioral / Developmental
James Lewis, MD is Professor of Pediatrics at the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine and a member of the division of Child Development and Behavior. He is currently one of the pediatric subspecialists in the School solution center at our Barboursville clinic. Dr Lewis received his medical degree from the State University of New York in 1975. He completed his Pediatric residency at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore, followed by a fellowship in Ambulatory and Community Pediatrics at the Childrens' Hospital of Pittsburgh in PA. His clinical and research interest focuses on the treatment and prevention of School problems, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and behavior and learning problems. Dr Lewis is a Board-certified pediatrician with subspecialty cerification in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Ambulatory Pediatric Association, and the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.
