Kate Waldeck, MD is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine and practices in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Hoops Family Children's Hospital at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Dr. Waldeck received her medical degree at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, New York, and she completed her pediatric residency at Kaiser Permanente Northern California in Oakland, California. She completed fellowship training in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Dr. Waldeck's research interests focus on utilizing ultrasonography to evaluate the pediatric airway.
