Isabel Pino, MD

Isabel Pino, MD is clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. She is currently the medical director of the West Virginia Children's Health Project, which was created in 1992 to expand the access to primary care for rural Appalachian families. Dr Pino obtained her medical degree from Universidad Central del Este, in the Dominican Republic in 1980. She then completed her Pediatric residency at Jersey City Medical Center in New Jersey, followed by a fellowship in Ambulatory Pediatrics at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY. Dr Pino's clinical and research interests focus on Rural Pediatrics and School Health. Dr Pino is fluent in both English and Spanish.
