Niharika Bhardwaj, MBBS, MSHI, is currently an Informatics Research Coordinator for the Division of Clinical Informatics (DCI) in the Department of Clinical and Translational Sciences at the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. She also serves as an Instructor for students in the M.S. in Clinical & Translational Sciences program and as the Managing Editor for the Marshall Journal of Medicine. She holds a medical degree from India and an M.S. in Health Informatics degree from Marshall University. Dr. Bhardwaj has a strong clinical background with expertise in data management and analytics (SQL Server, Visual Studio, SSIS, SPSS, and KNIME), business intelligence tools (Tableau, PowerBI), clinical research tools (REDCap, i2b2), and statistical programming/machine learning (R, Python). She has experience with all aspects of healthcare data and has worked on multiple research and operations-oriented projects and grants. Dr. Bhardwaj has numerous publications in the areas of chronic diseases such as obesity, heart disease, and other related disorders; oral health; and dementia.
