The Marshall University School of Medicine recognizes that mentoring is essential to the development and establishment of a strong and vibrant institution, and to the success and retention of diverse faculty. The success is reflected in the formal and informal mentoring faculty receives as they begin their careers and navigate through their new positions. With this in mind, the Office of Faculty Affairs and Professional Development are offering this mentoring Handbook; we hope that it is useful to all faculty.
