Prescribing Opioids

This educational session presented by the Department of Family & Community Health will review best practices associated with opioid prescribing and new licensure requirements from the allopathic and osteopathic boards of medicine. Detailed agenda and learning objectives will be published on the activity evaluation.

The West Virginia Board of Medicine and the Osteopathic Board of Medicine approves this course’s content which satisfies the drug diversion training and best practice prescribing of controlled substances training as a continuing education requirement for licensure.
