Career Conversations

Career Conversations are optional sessions initiated by the Associate Dean of Student Affairs and conducted by faculty and community physicians for various specialties. These sessions are designed primarily for MS-1 and MS-2 students but are open to everyone.  In 2011-2012, “Career Conversations” were conducted in: anesthesiology, emergency medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, neurology, obstetrics & gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, radiology, pediatrics, and plastic surgery.  Attendance is taken at all sessions and typically includes 10-20 students. The 2012-2013 schedule includes sessions in: anesthesiology, family medicine, general surgery, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, pediatrics and plastic surgery.
