Research at the Robert C. Byrd Center for Rural Health, Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine,  supports and directs focused, dynamic, multidisciplinary activities, many of them ongoing, as researchers study and apply ways to improve health outcomes and the quality of healthcare delivery. Our goal is to develop self-sustaining and effective programs in rural West Virginia that serve as models to the rest of the country and world.

Rural Research Pilot Grant applications are due October 3, 2014.
